Do a lot of people think adding players to our list that will improve us on the field while bucks is there might stick toothpicks in there eyes as it would be less painful than watching him stick lollies down his gob and watch the winnable game slip bye[quote]
LOL how can you tell Collingwood are losing and the coach can't correct it? |

God we better get some bloody good players in this offseason. Ideally Scharenberg stays, Treloar and Aish come in.
Not too fussed on Aish but I'll be pissed if Treloar goes elsewhere and we lose Scharenberg. |
Yeah I'd keep Fas as well, he's probably been our best forward over the last 6 weeks, I reckon he'll always need the odd kick up the bum but I feel he's getting more consistant now. |
agree. He also seems really popular with the playing group. I am surprised at just how happy his team mates are when he does well. anyone else notice that. Tells me he isn't as arrogant as his reputation suggests. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

He's been giving us more than any other forward over the past few weeks. I was a critic of his, but I think he's deserving of a spot on our list. Right now he gives us much more than Elliott. |

Why does faz fall to ground at every contests?
I feel he concedes in the onset of having to compete for the lose ball especially when it's one on one. Cmon faz you wouldn't last a season under Clarkson. _________________ no second chances |

Possibly wait till people have calmed down from the loss before starting these threads.
All trading ideas need to include
Status of players contract
Do they want to leave
Salary cap
List needs/strengths/weaknesses
Suggesting trading Witts when no evidence has been shown that he wants to leave and consider we only have one other ruckman is stupid and has been discussed on about 20 other threads. _________________ Carlscum 120 years being cheating scum |

3 delists / retirements ... Tony, Young and (apparently) PK. Others deserve at least another year. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

Trade Frost?
What Drugs are you on? Nathan Brown and Ben Reid are injury prone.
The other key backs that we have, I must have missed. |

If Treloar selects us as his club of choice I'd consider doing this, trade Broomhead for the crows first rounder (assuming Shazza re-signs) and use that pick and next years first rounder to please GWS, rumour has it the crows were into broomy in his draft year but they didn't have the pick due to draft sanctions.
I rate Broomy, but you have to give something of quality to get someone like treloar, and this way we get a real shot at a needs player in this years draft. _________________ Defender...........

We definitely need to bring in a player like Treloar. Our biggest weakness atm is our lack of A+ class in the midfield. Sadly, for the first time in many years we don't have a single All Australian player in our team. Even Pendles seems to be past his best, and we all know that Swanny is near the end. Adams is ferocious and heroic, but he lacks the pure class of genuine A+ midfielders. De Goey shows great promise, but he is 3 years away from being an All Australian midfielder. So don't be fooled into thinking we don't really need a player like Treloar. We do. So do it Pies. |

Frost flaked out a bit as young players are known to do, but he's quality. If Witts is happy to be a backup ruckman to play when Grundy is injured or tired or just to manage the two of them while young then we'd be stupid to get rid of him. The only way I see Witts as tradeable is if he's the clear #2 and wants more opportunities. I think if that was the case it'd come back and bite us in the bum.
Faz is coming good, why trade him now?
Seedsman appears to have been overtaken and may want out. Take whatever we can get, he's depth. Hopefully acts as a credible "Steak Knife" in any deal for Aish (not convinced on Aish, but he may have been playing dead because Brisbane suck at player management).
Only trade I want to see is for Treloar, and a 1st + 2nd rounder should do. I'd say one more quality mid (3-4 top line mids seems to be ideal for a premiership run) and we're set. |

Mid 1st and 2nd rounder won't land Treloar, if GWS agreed to that it would be open season on their list. _________________ Defender...........

I'm sure we'll have someone who wants to leave as a steak knife. I'd see Treloar as a similar 'trade value' as Beams. |
