Great stuff & wonderful to watch on the big screen.
It was: contrived, long, powerful, emotional & above all a ripper of a film. Cinematography was a treat. Marvellous soundtrack too.
Featuring Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz,

I have huge reservations about Sorrentino as a filmmaker, but I did like The Great Beauty a lot at least, the bits of it that I didn't hate. I'll probably try to see this one though I expect to be just as frustrated by it. |
Yeah there were gaps or issues one could be frustrated by but overall it's well worth seeing. Knocks your socks off. _________________ âI even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didnât keep âem under long enoughâ Kinky Friedman |

A digital design agency from Kent in England have a movie quiz.
It's a street scene in which they have placed visual clues to 65 films.
This is not my area of expertise, and beyond the obvious ones, I'm buggered.
Maybe some of our movie aficionados will do better. Can you name all 65?
Hope the link works!

Funny, I've probably seen it about a half dozen times, but have never actively sought it out. It's just one of those movies you can't take your eyes off when it happens to be on.
So, after a bit of channel surfing I just sat through it from 2.00-4.25am on Jan 1, with no intention of doing so. Lol.

Your kidding? That should be illegal, go get a copy or download it, you will love it, it's got everything, drama, intrigue, humour, not action but violence! And simply the best endings ever, it's just a brilliant movie, casting, scenery, everything. When it's on telly, you just can't flick past it! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Watched The Revenant last night. At 2 and a half hours it's long but never really felt like it was dragging. Very brutal at times. I liked it more than I thought I would. 8.5/10 _________________ #TEAMBUCKS

I just watched Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanours again. I was wondering if I'd still like it the second time around, but was really impressed with it. The ending in particular is excellent. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." â Julian Assange |
