My view is that this is the main 6 in the forward line.
Blair Moore Faz
Elliot Cloke Howe
Blair will be under pressure to hold his spot although he has looked really good in the pre-season (what a professional he is - kicking for goal is amazing - attack on the ball perfect - preparation perfect - he just doesn't have the obvious talent of the others in this group partly due to his size).
Its unlikely this group will ever get on the paddock together. I think Broomhead and Swan will get to spend time as a permanent forward (and Swan will rest forward a lot this year).
Assuming Bucks goes the Witts/Grundy combo, I think at times we will rest a ruckman. I think Gault is getting to the point where he might spell Moore who still wont be ready to play a 22 + 4 game season. White will also get a chance.
I cannot see any circumstance in which Howe, Cloke, Moore, 2 ruckman and one of White/Gault all play in the the game so some of these threads that assume that are wrong in my opinion. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Gault in last years first hitout [against Hawks] took simalar strong marks
then kicked truely.
Injury and form loss ruined a promising start and seeing NAB one and two
performances this year one would hope no repeat of ill fated 2015
He and Faz to me look the best prospects for consistant goal scoring given
injury free year _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Gault remains ahead of Howe until he gets on the park with some form. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Thats good cos if Gault is performing well then
Howe has to be better than him to push him out _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I've had a rethink and reckon that Gault's great pre-season form should be rewarded by giving him a spot in our forward line. With an expanded bench, we can then have Grundy as a bench player, relieving with Witts. The forward line would then be:
Swan Moore Gault
Aish Cloke Falolo |

Like that six Rudeboy and the beauty is we can start with that but rotate a
Sidebottom or a Pendles for short spells which would in no way weaken the
six you suggest.

I think you'll find that game against the Hawks was the final round of 2014 where he showed a bit of promise. He played 3 games early in 2015 and to me, looked totally lost. Not sure what happened there, it was disappointing. I think what he's shown in this years practice games is what we were expecting to see last year, let's hope he can keep it up. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |
