So the GWS player gets half the sentence.

And the actual club that the 3 now guilty people were employed at gets to keep pick 2?

Something's fishy here.

I assume like Whitfield it will be back dated. Either way it shouldn't really effect anything onfield.

No matter what people think of Caroline Wilson she has been proven right here as she was with the Essendon case. For me this brings into question the due diligence by Collingwood & the manner in which it was done. Questions need to be answered. This is not a good way to run a footy club

Agreed...Our Mighty Magpies have a Stench about them, the makings of a perfect Storm..It's starting to feel like the "Tony Shaw" days..

No that's going way too far & going OTT. I assume you're making a joke.

However the decision making & the process needs to be questioned in a rational manner.

Seems to me poor decisions are made when there's a lack of accountability.

The whole manner of Allan's appointment, the ill feeling it caused within our football department, leading to the resignation of Balme, and now the forced standing down of Allan has been amateurish at best, and incompetent at worst. So Bucks will now have his 5th football manager in as many years. Rolling Eyes

I must admit that I got this one wrong as I thought it would all amount to nothing.

That said, I would have to say that it astounds me that Gubby received the same sentence as James Hird. That in itself is ridiculous. Then again we are talking the AFL which has a reality of its own.

A message to the AFL - keep on screwing the cash cow that is Collingwood but then don't moan about the consequences. For every GWS supporter that comes to a game due to your tactics, 10 Collinwood supporters will give it a miss. Do the math nuffies.

My understanding is that operating outside of ASADA will cost the AFL all government funding, which is a substantial figure.

All jokes aside; for an entity that makes as much money per annum as the AFL does, WHY should they be entitled to any government funding, period?

Geez what an embarrassment. We've done really well, employed a bloke to clean up our act and gee whiz, he's a flog as well.

Agreed, Gubby should never have been officially appointed until this matter was settled, that much was obvious from the very start. The rush to hire him while this was still a live issue is troubling to say the least.

I'm not all that comfortable with persisting with him under the circumstances. We have two convicted drug cheats on our list already, now a convicted administrator.

Not a great look.
