I believe he does a lot of in and under stuff that isn't very obvious but yes I don't think he is in form.
A lot of people rate him high and he doesn't lack courage.
Above my pay grade to work out if another could do better. _________________ We shall set our course by the stars and not ships that pass in the night |

He needs to stop those across the 50m arc kicks because they never come off. |

Give the guy a break.
As soon as he gets more footy in him he will be back to his best.

I wouldn't write him off just yet. He does a lot of in and under work and probably gets his hands dirty (or is at least prepared to) more so than some of our other players. Sure his kicking leaves a lot to be desired sometimes but I love his guts and determination. He's nearly always at the bottom of a pack. Watch the footage of him going toe to toe with roughhead. None of our other players bring that sort of in your face attitude. |

I thought he should have won the Copeland last year, but apart from his game against Geelong and his second half this week, he's been bloody ordinary this year. _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Hasn't hit any sort of form yet. It will come. We need a big game from him on Queens BD. Melb are the best team at contested ball. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

Started to play himself back into form in the second half. The long lay off always takes a game or two to clear out cobwebs. When he’s right, His hardness and aggression and goal kicking ability are an important part of our menace. He’ll never be a Treloar - he’s just not that good. But he is a Stan
Magro, and I’m glad he’s on our side. Barring injury, we’ll see his best before the year is two-thirds over. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

When Pendles was out injured late in 2017, Adams really stepped up. He regularly got 30+ and polled Brownlow votes in 5 of our last 7 games.
He’s started slow and has had interruptions this year, but he’s got some currency in the bank and I reckon he’ll be back to his best soon enough.
Let’s just keep winning. |

It's like saying Houli is not as good as Dusty, but when it's last man standing in the last quarter of the next grand final we participate in, we'll all be happy that we have Adams in the side. |

His kicking is still a worry, he will always have a real go, but Shaw will always be Magpie royalty. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Certainly in danger of being overtaken by others.
Yes, he is a hard nut and I love his aggression BUT he needs to bring more than that! Lift! |

Is he out of form our simply being passed by others❓❓
The likes of improvement in Crisp —WHE and the back into side Josh Thomas
His game against Dogs was creadable and at times his ball use as a link was VG
If this guy had A grade ball skills to match his desperation and in and under skills no one in the comp would beat him _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I don’t think his ball skills per se are the problem, just his judgement about how much clearance his target player needs when he is passing to them. His kicks are usually fairly accurate. He just seems to be a notch off in his judgement of distance. In any event, I’m sure the coaches are working on it. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
