Not only do they get injured.
But they always get injured at the start of the match.
Even before he got in to the afl moore ripped
his hammy whilst in the VFL.
Would anyone want to trade for him.
Waiting for Elliot to go down now. |

Moore should be written off now.
Will be an ongoing liability; letting us down regularly early in matches.
Seems to prefer the medical room to the heat of battle.
Certainly knows where to go to each time.
We can't afford him!!!!! _________________ Woodsman |

And sadly Jamie should be on his last chance.
Can't afford to carry chronic crocks.

Maybe we should add Adams to the list. |

With rose coloured glasses Wells, Elliott, Goldy, Langdon, Dunn (unfortunately after a 2nd knee), Varcoe, Reid, Crocker are depth players to help us win a flag.
Take those glasses off and it’s clear their bodies or abilities will hamper us in any chance of getting back into the top 4. There are 3 or 4 others boarder line on being on this list. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Time to cull a few players this year and trade out as well. May have to make some tough calls and trade a few protentional guns to recruit a few more quality KPP. We missed out last year and as we drop down the ladder, blind Freddy can see this is where we are falling down.
Note: Reid's Contract this year was peanuts and worth the punt. Wells negotiated a reduction in his salary and that as well was worth the punt. |

Langdon is more than a depth player. He's best 22 when he's fit.
P4S would faint in horror if he saw the future captain being described as a "depth player". _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

We have had a bucket load of injuries for years.
The question is ...is it bad lack, poor player management,
or do we keep injury prone players too long.
?
... |
It's hard to get rid of players you have, even if you're sure that's the right thing to do, but it should be easy to stop yourself trading or drafting in new injury-prone players. Our club may have some sort of addiction to doing that, like a gambling addiction.
Our current injury-prone players don't have any trade value. They'd get us at best what the Fasolo free agency got us. |
It's like stuff I'm tripping over aroudn the house. I ask myself, which of this stuff would be scavenged on hard rubbish night? Which of it would the salvos take if offered for free?
Ask yourself, which of those players would be tradable, or even be picked up for free if delisted, by another club (except GC)?
Then again if they were it seems they would be likely to have a lot less injury downtime than at Collingwood for whatever maddening reason. |

I think it's more about making room for new recruits. Look at all the great deb's that are playing at most other clubs. We pretty much just have Q and guess what...
and even Noble who showed a little bit is now out injured. |
