Like get a car for free that's got a history of engine trouble. You end up paying rego, and it spends half its time in the garage, costing you more than a decent one would have. Yeah nah. _________________ Get back on top. |

Well there is obviously a fair chance, since we've actually approached him.... _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

No way. Another head knock and he’s retiring. We need players we know can get on the park day one |

imo we need to grab two talls that can play forward
i.e. 2mPeter, Brown or McCartin
McCartin is the cheapest, but he also has a lot of potential upside if he can remain fit - obviously we don't want to risk his health so we'd need to test him thoroughly.
We need to take some chances to get the results we desire. |
Yes I agree. Like someone going up for a very high mark, it is always a leap of faith. I would love 2 of the above and all 3 if at all possible. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. To take him then throw him to the wolves until his next KO is plain cruel.
Adelaide will take him |

He is one concussion away from ending his career and maybe sustaining permanent brain damage. Not a good move for him, not a good move for us. _________________ Born and raised in Black and White |

I’d take him pending neurologist reports. If he was assessed (MRI, PET scans) neurological and neuropsychological assessments, given LSD then re-assessed and knows how to clearly place a multi bet at the local TAB then he’s your man.
Seriously though, get him assessed with most of the assessments noted above and on the basis of those assessments then make an informed decision _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

We shouldn't be having this poll. There are more important things in life than playing AFL footy and number one is protecting your health. |

He's put his hand up to play presumably on the basis of a medical clearance. If you get assessesed and get expert opnion which clears you to play then why not?
I'm not talking about some 2 bit medical officer at a boxing ring but top neurologists and neuropsychychologists where after assessing the data an informed decision can be made. If they say there is a risk then don't if they say there is no more risk than other footy players then go ahead. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

He ticks so many boxes, but the risk is so high for him.
I dont want to guess that he'll be ok. His body is in good shape and he has the right attitude, but what will one heavy knock do to him? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
