There's no point drafting for this year, the focus has to be on the future. |

I think you will find that the needs for next year are exactly the same as the needs now dude. May as well get our needs met now and give the players an opportunity to play out this season and get familiar with the game plan. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. We will know soon enough. |

If we don't recruit a full forward, Collingwood is a basket case,
infiltrated by the enemy!

do we really want to get the next best player who couldnt make it onto an AFL list at the start of the year to be that full forward? Thats how we ended up with Cox, Cameron and Mihochek. Now i like all three of them, but the mid season draft is where you pick up a good role player like Noble or Mihochek. Its not where you recruit Jason Dunstall, Tom Lynch or Jeremy Cameron. They are already on lists.
We should target that gun KPF with the number 1-4 pick in the 2022 draft! Hopefully we still have it. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

As it currently stands with the points deficit we will take from the Daicos pick, that would be pick 4-8 or something like that... |

Remind him that the the Bummers were asked to consider running the vaccine rollout coz, you know, they're experts at injecting regimes. |

I am a bit surprised we are not taking 3 picks in to the mid season draft.....retiring Greenwood or Tyler Browns shoulder reco could allow this.
With an early bid on Daicos, we give up a whole lot of 2nd and third round picks.
As it stands our next pick in the national draft will be in the 4th round.....in the 60's after early bids. academy players etc......
If we can land one big forward tonight (maybe 2), why not take an extra 19 year old that maybe better than pick 60 plus? |
