What's up with Jack?
He was absolutely flying up until round 13 (Queens Birthday) averaging 26.5 disposals alongside 7 goals.
It was arguably career best form and I was thinking he had really came of age as a legitimate midfielder and not a half back admirably playing a role for the side through the midfield.
During his last 6 games though he's only cracked the 20 disposal mark once, his disposal average during this period has fallen to 18.6 and he hasn't registered a single goal or even a behind.
I didn't see that coming and it makes you wonder if he's playing with an undisclosed injury.
If he's fully fit fair to say we need him back to his absolute best before finals and tonight would be an opportune moment to start.
Come on Jack. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Feel like Josh Daicos would have to be a fair chance at this stage. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Agree. I think it will be J Daicos or Crisp for the Copeland.
Nick will finish 3rd. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Maynard could be a smoky. He's had his best year yet imo. |

Probably not far off I reckon. De Goey might be a little lower just on account of how much football he's missed, and I do think Maynard will be up there somewhere. Could see Moore finishing top five. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

I'd have Pendles 3rd - I'm not sure if Crispy or J Daicos gets 1 or 2, but Pendles gets 3, N Daicos probably 4 (he's had some awesome games, albeit not after the Adelaide game) Maynard is up there in 5 but Howe has to be in consideration with Moore at 6. Lipinski has really dropped off, while still playing an important role, and De Goey hasn't played enough games to impact the top 7 or so I suspect. Cameron will be in the top 10 if its coaches votes - he's a ripper of a role player, what a role! - as will Mc Creery, this fella is all heart and all 1 % ers - massive improvement too.
It's a pretty interesting top 10 or so, would be premiership worthy if they can pull it off with a few young guys in the mix. Makes for excellent reading for the future!

Okay here it is:
1. J Crisp: superb finals series edged out others
2. J Diacos: Mr Consistency
3. S Pendlebury: has come with a rush in last 8 matches
4. N Daicos: impressive
5. B Maynard: all Aus
6. J DeGoey/D Moore: could go higher
7. P Lipinski: great year
8. J Howe: consistent
9. D Cameron: tailed away
10. J Ginnivan: 40 goals should see him in top 10 _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum

De Goey must surely finish somewhere in our top 10. |
