Let me be the first to say - Thanks for your years as a magpie Brodie.
Jeez, I'm going to miss him in the Black and White.
Regardless of what people are going to go on about money etc, there's no doubt he loved the club.
Now, excuse me. I'm going to go and vomit.

Run down the wing leading to a goal vs Crows in Adelaide Rd 4 2018. In my mind probably THE moment our season started to come alive against the prior year's runner up. I think it was wet too - and straight after the camera cut to some Crows fan with the filthiest look on his face.
Thanks Brody - all the best for the future. _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |

Thanks for the memories, Brodie.
Two memories standout for me:
1). The goal against Richmond with 4 seconds to go.
2). The goal against Adelaide in Round 4 2018. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Thanks Brodie! Sad way to end but professional game and i am sure both parties will make the most of it. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

And who else was a star that night? None other than Jaidyn Stephenson with his 5 goals.

Good luck to him, hope he makes the most of life outside of footy and continues to be his own man (I can say that now he’s at another club haha). |

Being a very smart Intellectual type, very intelligent, Im hoping he does a Rance, gets sick of footy, and retires early, moves on, to the world of big Business or something, with his high quaifications. within the next two or three seasons. Serve Melb right too, if he does. I wish him well but not at Melbourne, cannot stand those elitist toffy pricks, hes the enemy now. Thats it. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

That game he played against Adelaide in round 4 2018 was sensational. Whether he gets back to that level is debatable but good luck to him, obviously hope he lays a stinker in the QB game. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

I was a massive fan, untill the new contract. He was then an overvalued player that never performed to his contract value. From there I thought it unlikely to get the list management to work effectively.
Shame really. He was still a decent player, just not a $1M one.
Good bye. Good luck, but not against us. |

One of Collingwood's greatest ever players - and the best ruckman I have seen in a black and white jumper. With Pendles and Sidey, he carried them on his back to the 2018 Grand Final. I just hope the useless @&$!S we've kept to play ruck for us can pick up the slack. |

Thanks for your service to the club Brodie..I’m sorry to see you go as I’m sure a lot of Collingwood supporters will be too.
It’s a shame it had to come to this. You’d think something could have been worked out with his salary so that we could keep him. He’s apparently taking a pay cut to play with Melbourne,it’s a shame he couldn’t do that with us.

Clearly the best Collingwood ruckman in the last 40 years. Arguably the equal of Thompson and Moore.
And we've given him away for a handful of beans. _________________ Side by side. |
