No Cox and cameron as i recall.
Plus no Howe Side McStay thinking Lipinski and a couple of other out as well.
I recalled Moore or Murphy was a late out on KB.
As said before tonight will be a greasy deck.
Tonight i a must win as well.
Please Pies get the job done.

Changes to R13 sides :
Collingwood ~ In : JDG, Elliott, Howe, McStay, Sidebottom, Ginnivan Out : N.Daicos, Johnson, McInness, Noble, Frampton, Harrison
Melbourne ~ In : Oliver, MacDonald, Bowey, Out : Spargo, James, Smith |
Those are indeed big ins – six of the best! – and, Daicos aside, mostly fringe outs.
Melbourne's lineup is a little stronger too (Oliver obviously being the big in), but nowhere near as much of an improvement. Feeling much more optimistic about this game now.

I’m actually scared, scared if we lose this & the repercussions that will result from a loss.

This is equivalent to a GF. A loss and it's pretty much game over man!

Nor sure about going tall on a wet deck.

May as well award the cup tonight then.
If we don't win tonight and can’t go the hard way around then we cleary won’t deserve to be premiers. I think our best is good enough to beat anyone, anywhere - including Brisbane up there if that’s what’s required.

^ agreed. Fact is, if we lose tonight, we'll still be as alive as any other team. Will just have three more games to win rather than two.

I'm hoping for a big (or at least effective) game for McStay. We need him operating as an effective foil for Mihocek and Cox. His work defensively will be very important in helping to quell the Melbourne defence. This is his chance to really step up and prove himself.

Except for Cameron and Cox you are correct, we had no other ruckmen... |
Apart from Cameron and Cox, what have the Romans ever done for us!

Howe Side McStay... at least you got those 3 right. Everybody else played. DeGoey was suspended.

Yes that's true David but I don't want to do things the standard Collingwood way, which is the hard way and losing to Melbum and having to beat the Scum and Brions in Brisbane before arriving in a grand final completely exhausted with nothing left to give, if we are good enough to get there, is very much our MO

Genuine 50/50 match. Hard to split the teams.
I still maintain the view that the winner of tonight's game is playing off in a Grand Final.

The pressure on Melbourne to not go out in straight sets in successive years is enormous.
The pressure is all on them to replicate 2021.
