We had reserved seating which was continuously offered to us until covid hit.
We were at the Thursday event and then it all went to hell from there. Once covid came through, they stopped giving us our same seats and we've stuggled to get a spot in the grand stand since. That and the prices have more than doubled.
This year we have the basic GA entry for the 4 days without access to the grandstands on day 3 or 4. But that's ok. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

* The investigation into Red Bull Racing's Christian Horner for purported misconduct is nearing its conclusion.
* A specialist barrister has completed the external review, with the extensive findings now with Red Bull GmbH's board for a decisive verdict.
*An official decision on Horner's position is expected to be released imminently, in time for the start of the 2024 F1 season in Bahrain.

Max Verstappen has claimed his third straight Formula 1 world title on Sunday morning after a truly chaotic Qatar Grand Prix Sprint race.
While the Red Bull superstar wrapped up yet another crown, it was Australian rookie Oscar Piastri who reigned supreme after the 19-lap race.
Piastri’s win was McLaren’s first since Daniel Ricciardo triumphed for them at the 2021 Italian Grand Prix and it was only the second time this season that Red Bull had been defeated. _________________ Donny.

Ferrari make it 10 wins in Melbourne...
https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/facts-and-stats-ferrari-make-it-10-wins-in-melbourne-as-mercedes-end-62-race.3zqee537Q5UClgzHHtkYhG
'There was drama all the way in Australia on Sunday as Carlos Sainz returned Ferrari to winning ways, with team mate Charles Leclerc following him home for the Scuderia’s first Albert Park one-two in 20 years. McLaren’s Lando Norris was also up there – giving him more podiums without a win than any driver in F1 history. Here’s a round-up of more fascinating facts generated in Melbourne…
• The only previous Ferrari one-two in this decade was the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix where Leclerc won from Sainz.
• Ferrari have only scored four previous one-two finishes in the last 14 years.
• Sainz and Max Verstappen continue to be the only race winners in the last 11 months.
• Today was Sainz’s third career win and his first when not starting from pole position.
• Sainz’s victory was Ferrari’s 10th at Albert Park – they were already the most successful team at this track.
• Sainz is thought to be the first driver to win on a return from an injury/medical absence since Gerhard Berger at the 1997 German Grand Prix.
• With P2 today, Leclerc equalled his personal best point-scoring streak of 12 consecutive races.
• Leclerc has now finished on the podium in five of his last six race starts.
• Today marked Ferrari's first one-two in Melbourne for exactly 20 years – Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello did it in 2004.

Red Bull chief blames 'mental problem' for Riccardo pace
https://www.gpfans.com/en/f1-news/1016973/helmut-marko-red-bull-chief-says-daniel-ricciardo-issues-are-a-mental-problem/
'The Australian driver has been out-qualified by his teammate Yuki Tsunoda at every race this season...
...
Helmut Marko, who is unopposed to removing underperforming drivers abruptly, has had his say on where Ricciardo’s issues lie this season.
According to Mundo Deportivo he said: "Each driver sees the other's data and they have the same car. Daniel has shown in the past that he is a fast driver, so it is something mental. He has a mental problem.”' |
