First half was woeful, but found a bit of aggression and did OK in the second half. If he can play that way for a full game he is worth another shot. |

Fair enough comment but I’m not that convinced that he is a consistent contributor throughout the game. Playing in fits and starts doesn’t help the team to expect a big game from him each week as you normally would with a forward. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. The hope is that he sensed a taste of what he's capable of in that second half. Things can click in unexpectedly for people; keep supporting, cajoling and encouraging the lad, folks. Worry about next year after this year. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

support all of those wearing the sacred jumper until they retire are delisted or traded.
There were some signs in the second half- I think that Johnson is, at best, a third tall. A bit rich to expect him to step up and be a key.
I back him to play well against the Dees if selected.
I believe that Reef and Hoskin-Elliott are back for the Dees so the likes of Bytel and Parker may be back to the VFL.
I have faith that McRae and co. will make the right call. _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Apparently Krueger played well in the VFL, kicking 3 goals.
I would have liked him selected against the Dogs, but hopefully he gets promoted to face the Dees. |

In the second half, Ash showed a small glimpse of what he can do. That won't save him from being omitted next week. Krueger has that physicality about him that demands he come in at the risk of getting injured. |

No way you can allow Ash to play next week. He'll be absolutely destroyed by May. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Ash Johnson needs some help to get his game back to where it was 12 months ago. Something is seriously off with him. He isn’t showing any of the flair or skills that was the basis of his game when he was first selected.
I fear his time at the Pies is over but hopefully he’ll turn his form around and discover the love of the game again. Even Brian Taylor commented that Johnson looked like he didn’t want to be out on the ground.☹️ _________________ Collingwood Domination. Envy of the Nation! |

Needs more of our seasoned players around him.
He could then be freed up and play a role similar to that which Des Hedland played for the brions in the early 2000's. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

^I agree. With Mihocek and McStay in and I think you see the best of him. At the moment his confidence is just shot. Can't say that I blame him given the jeers. I think if Reef and Kreuger come in he may feel a little less pressured. |

A bit disingenuous when you consider we were only missing McStay in Round 0 and 1 _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

Turn it up.
It's a sincere opinion on what I think of Ash's ability.
We saw what he is capable of last year and surrounded by our best, instead of a massively injury depleted line up and he can get his confidence back, the sky's the limit. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

I think he will be dropped.
Fly was asked about him in his presser and while he didn't want to single him out specifically, it was obvious from his body language that he wasn't happy with his performance. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
