Tom Morris is a freaking germ of a human being.

Gobsmacking it was so easy for him to get back in the media (with 9) after his fall.

“Vascular issue almost resolved”, but “back in six to eight weeks”!!!

I don’t mean to make light of this injury - clearly the resolution to the condition then allows him to complete a more significant block of rehab before he can play.

Six to eight!!!

Sounds like a lot of troops back after the bye.

Has the connections to weasel his way back in.

Apparently Caroline Wilson is a family friend of the Morris family, so gave him a good word to resurrect his career at Ch9.

I'm a bit more sympathetic to him – don't get me wrong, he seems pretty smarmy and privileged, but the actual thing he got done in for was fairly mild in the broader scheme of things. The thing that kind of bothered me about that whole thing was that it was pretty clearly a hit job by someone who wanted to take him down (with the actual subject of the comments he made in the private group chat the collateral damage in that revenge operation).

Perhaps getting fired was the correct response, but people need a sense of proportion; doing something wrong and getting punished for it doesn't necessarily mean someone ought to be treated as unemployable for life.

It’s almost a daily update on his injury situation
He will be back or maybe never play footy. Which is it

I’m extremely certain that he will be back. The “never come back ” crap was your usual hack journo beat up I’ve been bored with many times before 🙄

Based on recent events, he'd be a perfect fit at 9, but in Snr management. Wink

Agreed. I read an article in the age where he talked about what he has learned and how he treats others. He owned the problem and seems like a better person.
