Dave (and others) who want senior players demoted to the seconds, who comes in for them? It’s not like our seconds are on top 🙄 Except for Kruger and Macrea, hardly anyone else deserves to be promoted at the moment. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. Won't happen; he is a protected duck.
At least one of those touches yesterday was a mark and goal.
I wouldn't suggest a repeat performance against Carlton though, but he had a few mates who let us down too. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Went from his best game to his worst.
I think we subbed off the wrong player. I love WHE, but it wasn't a great day at all for him. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I thought he was awesome on Monday.
He is such a great link player who can play anywhere, take a mark and hit the scoreboard. He was sorely missed when he was out injured.
The highlight for me (other than his goals) was the high flying mark on the wing. He was off running almost before he hit the ground. That quick play to Bobby set up Kreuger's first goal.
A very important part of our team. |

W H E ( 7 marks in first half ) ran May ( 1 mark in first half ) ragged when he played as a decoy C H F for most of the first half. Not sure what changed in the second half but May then found himself on Krueger and May worked himself back into the game after the damage was already done.
Hoskin Elliot is simply having a good year. He’s fit and he looks like he’s enjoying kicking a couple every week and going for his marks. |

Good call P2016. To my mind, both WHE and Crisp are the barometers for our team's performance. We rarely lose when they play well. |

Set the tone early with his opening goal, and then a brilliant mark on the wing that led to Kreuger's first goal.
He enhanced our team yesterday with his inclusion. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

That aerial mark on centre wing, then to land on his feet like a cat to immediately advance the ball into a scoring chain, was elite.
He's got a turn of pace which is very hard to defend, he's exhibiting it every week. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)
