Massive opportunity to keep the pressure up and assert our credentials with the bye approaching and hopefully getting some experienced talent back after the bye. |
Yeah, if we actually do have a good win we could be sitting 2nd and possibly 5th after the bye…with some of our guns coming back could be a perfect springboard for finals campaign….not an easy run home but get through it with a top 4 spot at the end and we’ll be match hardened and well positioned for a crack at 17! _________________ The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men... |

Two cents worth, if that :-
We will win by over 14 points
Larkey will kick less than five.
We will be looking forward to the week off and a fresh assault at the finals with a few regular starters returning to strengthen our squad.
We will have McStay back in time to shine in the finals. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️ |

We should prepare ourselves for the probability that North will win the clearances and stoppages. That’s been their one wood for the last few weeks. Norths problem will come anytime we regain the ball in our defence and start the run and carry. They are easily the worse defence in the competition and that won’t be any different today. Collingwood don’t rely on winning clearances but they do rely on winning the ball back before the opposition score. If the defence remains solid and there’s no reason to think they won’t, the heavily favoured outcome will look after itself.
As I’m posting, Simpkin has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. He’s a huge loss for them. |

You're not wrong. That's like taking out Josh Daicos for us. A key distributor by hand for the Kangaroos _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

No walk in the park, but we can and should win by around 22 points . Just get the 4 points, then we take a well earned Bye. Go Woods !! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
