Very impressed with this youngster, 24 possessions last night, goes in hard, runs them down, can kick.
Ben gives 110 percent, backs his fellow players up with an option to pass back to him.
Looking forward to some exciting times in watching Ben's career in footy unfold. _________________ Kaylene.

Love the loook of this kid. Heaps of courage, finds the ball and neat skills. Looks to be a great Midfield prospect for the future! Well worth promoting off the rookie list! |

Was excellent last night, and has a real future on the wing. Classy and has a bit of toughness. And the fact that he got knocked over a few times, but he still got back to his feet and kept going. I like the looks of all our rookies (inc Zane).
Heath Shaw also played pretty well. |

i think he's deceptive for his size. He tackles well and hits them hard. from the looks of it he's been working on his disposal because it was looking good last night. he's a boy who wants to wear the black and white stripes. before being drafted to collingwood he was already a collingwood boy...he wears his heart on his sleeve. looks like a promising future. ihad the opportunity this year to meet his family ( as well as harry's) and speaking to him also..u can tell he's got a good head on his shoulder's n takes the game seriously-comparing to the other heartless platers in the team. When i spoke to his mum she said that all he wanted to do was play the best for willi n one of the proudest moments in his life was to play for collingwood and actually get drafted. And that one of the most important things was giving it his all and just hope that he is given the opportunity to play. i really am starting to love this boy. _________________ 🖤ðŸ¤ðŸ–¤ðŸ¤ |

Agreed. I'm with you foxy. Would perfer players that give their over someone who may have more talent but not teh attitude / desire.
I rate JCloke in the same category cause at least he busts his gut trying. |

i agree with you foxychick he looks the goods and also has guts. 1 point of the game was going with the flight of the ball to take a mark but didnt did hit the ground and pushed the trainer away. |

he made 2 great tackles lastnight,he has alot of courage for a young bloke, and a couple of the senior players could look at him and do the same. _________________ As Reg Reagan Says-Go And Get Stuffed..!! |

Yep a good pick up and i hope he gets put on the senior list.
There should a place for someone with his attitude and commitment.
His kicking isnt as bad as first thought either. |

Indeed. It will be interesting to see how he goes next year. _________________ "There's an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says, fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again." - Oscar Wilde |

I said a few weeks back that O'Brien and Fanning would be uplisted and Davies rookie listed, at least for the start of next year..... now surely he is a certainty to be placed on the senior list after that. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Love the bloke.
Works so hard to be the best he can be - and the exciting thing is that he has barely started.
It'll be a disgrace if he doesn't get the rising star nom. for this week considering all Ablett had to do was play for a half. |

Both Davies and Heath Shaw get better every game they play. With a good preseason both should be able to push for regular selection even witha full complement of players available.
With the expected improvement of Rusling and C3 we could be in for good times ahead. |

Could be wrong, but can only get nominated if on the senior list. Technically, he's still rookie listed. _________________ Whale

Spot on. Travis, Heath Shaw and Davies all look like they are natural footballers and should be guns for the pies. _________________ Tubeway Army 1979
