OK sorry I know this was a few days ago, but anyhow.....
this is such a common statement coming from the left since the last election especially, that most of the people who voted Liberal must be stupid.... how arrogant can you get, seriously. OK I admit there probably are a large amount of people who aren't very well educated and may have voted for the liberals based on 'fear' or whatever - just as I'm sure there were many people who voted labor because their mates told them that John Howard was a racist.... but whether or not this is the case, it is a democracy - which means that everybody gets to vote, not just those who are 'smart' enough to choose who to vote for... which of course is subjective anyway as to who these people are . All I know is the Australian electorate were given a choice between a strong party that, you've got to admit, has provided a more than decent government for ten years, or an unstable party with an unstable leader.... or they could have voted Greens anyhow from my point of view it looks like the majority were 'smart' enough on this occasion and voted in the right party. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

The problem is that now, most DENY voting for the tories They are all upset about stuff like the IR bill & instead of saying I fully deserve this for voting for these clowns, they say things like "dont blame me, I voted Labour" Yeah right |

But i did vote labor! and when i realised the majority that these clowns got in by, i thought i'd move to New Zealand, but the only thing stopping me was that I wouldn't be able to go and see Collingwood play every week like i do now. _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |
