Thanks Dr Alf, you just brightened my day. By the way, I always thought Moses was more of a flanker and Aaron did all the hard work. |
You could be right. He was a bit of a receiver.
And he had a bad habit of telling everyone else what to do ... or at least what not to do. |
Receiver he may have been, but you shoulda seen him play against the Swans, he always saved his best for them....when he got the ball on the HB line, and just ran it thru the corridor, it was like a sea of Red (and white) just parting before him.
hoho. |

As a former Cheer Squad member, I took YOUR comments personally ... Was there any other way I was supposed to take them? _________________ Line and Length ... Line and Length ... Line and Length |

The thing that bugs me the most is that you look in Perth and Adelaide and %$^£$%^&%% me even Brisbane and their crowds really get into the game and cheer on their team. Sydney still have no clues.
I though the atmosphere on Sunday was flat even with 84,000 people and that is even in the first quarter when we were in the game.
I think the cheersquad has a role to play but i also think everyone in the crowd needs to get behind the team more. If we dont then it basically becomes a neutral venue.

Yep, time to do some major trading. Sat behind the Geelong CS early in the year, and there seemed to be plenty of surplus talent there. May be worth making a few overtures? Certainly their appearance seemed better than our unruly mob - average age approx 65, matching blue and white jackets, blue'grey rinse, hint of chin stubble. Military-style precision with their jeering (could tell you about their cheering, they only kicked 3-4 goals didn't they?). Major league nasty nanna's with very, very bad manners. Just what we need.
Seriously, I find watching any cheersquad a bit disconcerting - almost like watching a train wreck. You can't help but admire them for their passion and commitment. But at the same time you can't help but wonder what the bloody hell is missing in their brains which enables them to carry on like they do. |

They are an embarrassment, pure and simple and unfortunately it reflects badly on the club and all of us as supporters _________________ Go you good thing! |

Maybe it would be more ideal if current or former 'cheersquad' members didnt vote on this topic, as it may give a false impression on what the 'everyday supporter' really wants.
Although with a scoreboard of 14-4, it looks asthough it doesnt matter all that much.
Hopefully the club will notice the disdain that they are causing and take action against the people who dont warrant the responsibility of representing such a proud club. |

Unfortunately, the bad far outways the good. Although I voted "Yes", if you are unhappy with the way it is, then get in there and participate and make it something that is worthwhile. _________________ The time is now! |

I guess theres only so much the man can do.
It would have to come down to the individuals to act in a more professional and appropriate manner if they are choosing to act at representations of OUR club. |

The cheersquad are a joke and always have been, just watching them every week they are not there to cheer on the Pies, they are there for a cheap seat and probably most signed up to get a ticket to the grand final when we make it again after 02
The people involved in the brawl are the typical of the people now in the cheersquad and reality the cheersquad is the sort of thing that should involve more kids to get the thrill of it all, but now I doubt anyone would want their kids anywhere near those ferals |

A tad concerning about what has occured. I guess people need to get a grip on reality. Ed should have probably thanked everyone in the squad instead of looking for one person though. |
