I saw your point skaman.
My point is there is no such thing as 100% when society is looking for bloodlust revenge. Just look at the "mob" during the Anita trials. Even before hearing evidence they were stringing these guys up.
In the mobs world, just arresting someone is grounds for execution. |

One argument that could be used is that state/community sanctioned killing is on a completely different level to 'private' killing.

Without trying to go of on a completely different tangent, there's an argument that what happens during war is state sanctioned killing. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Can you please rephrase that with fewer ideas, or different thoughts? |

Imagine if someone such as Lindy Chamberlain was incorrectly sentenced to death, then they realise she didn't do it! _________________ Insert useless signature here -----> |

Excellent point.
The crowds that were outside Lindy's court were no different to the crowds outside the Anita murderers trial.
Both mobs would have strung 'em high even before the cases were heard. |

I'm sure there are cases when it is completely obvious if a person committed the crime, ie. Port Arthur Massacre. |

When do you think artificial intelligence will replace lawyers? A deeper algorithm is needed to respond to that correctly. |
