Not condoning what Heater did, I'm just curious how many people will own up.
I have, more than once. It's not something I'm particularly proud of, but I've never had any kind of accident, maybe because I was aware of how much I'd had to drink and took it extra careful. Or maybe I was just bloody lucky. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I suspect that I have. I was 17. , was on my L's, Drank alot one night at a party. my uncle came and picked me up from the party. On the way back he said why dont you drive, i was too embarresed to say i was drinking so I went ahead and took the wheel
I am pretty sure I would have been over the limit, but i didnt get caught or didnt crash. My uncle suspected it though when we got home he asked me straight up whether i was drinking, i said yeh and he let me have it
I havent had a drink in a bout a year though, quit it recently. |

Couple of times when I was 18-19. Once on my bike doing 150 on a gravel road with a mate on the back - both of us helmetless.
The second time in a car down to the local 7/11 to get a burger when the munchies hit.
Looking back now I'd like to kick my own ass because only sheer luck stopped me from killing myself, or worse, killing someone else. |

Plenty of times in my younger days, took the death of a good mate through drink driving for the message to finally sink in.
Have not touched a drop whilst driving since and that was a good 5 years ago. _________________ ************ANTI SIG************ |

I don't know for certain but I think I have. I'm going to buy one of those breathalisers you can get from Repco or Autobarn and leave it in my glove box then make sure I'm safe to drive. |

In the days before random breath testing........at around the same age as Heath, i was driving obviously well over the limit. In fact, i know i was drunk! I was travelling on the south eastern freeway, the only car on the road and then a car came up behind me. In my stupor, i thought.....why can't it just go round me.
Then the flashing lights came on. I pulled over. They drove me home.
I was very very lucky to have not had an accident.
Did i learn from my mistake? No, I'll admit to having driven over the limit since, although I'd say not in the past 10 years. _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

Many times when I was younger, not proud of it. But the stories that my uncles tell me of what they used to get up 30 years ago make me shudder. Co-incidently alot of the stories involve driving home from Kew. _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:

Just to make it clear for those who voted "No".
You are not drunk at .05. In fact I think most people would be surprised just how sober they are when they crash through the magical number.
And yes, I'll admit to being over the prescribed limit on more then one occasion. |
