Seems someone had a talk to Wilson about what went on.
Good to see Ray Shaw gave Didak a spray too... _________________ "Only the weak believe that what they do in battle is who they are as men" - Thomas Marshall - "Ironclad". |

Messy situation.
Handled well in the end.
But no way trade Alan Didak. No way.
Alan Didak should stay at Collingwoodland.

My reading of it is either Ray Shaw or the player manager parasite type Lloyd spoke to Wilson. _________________ Black. White. Forever. |

Good to see Ray give Didak a bake, fully deserved.
If true. _________________ ************ANTI SIG************

geez I hate her snide reporting, how much of what she says is fact and how much has she made up to put the story together? _________________ Pain heals, Chicks dig scars, Glory..... lasts forever! |

Meh, I don't listen to a single thing that woman says.
Her unbridled glee and delight at this is actually the only thing keeping me together at the moment if that makes sense - I'm memorizing who is for us and against us in this situation. I'd love to take a Premiership Cup to the offices of the Age and the Herald Sun and stick it up Wilson and Robinson and...
I've actually ended up more passionate about the club out of this, just need the players to feel the same way! _________________ We just got nutted at the clearances... |

i've missed reading the caro hating threads of late. can we just cross-reference this thread to the other ones, that way it'll save some of you time which now can be used to discuss the more important issue of plugging the gaps these two chaps have created. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Occasionally there are benefits of living up in Sydney. If anyone has the time or motivation read the piece on this in the Sydney Morning Herald. One column - no wrap around 15 page disssetation. Just stating the facts. What frustrates me about this is the over the top response from journalists. Wilsons article refers to Eddie being "theatrical" - what a friggen agenda/outrage. One question to every other club in the league A strong Collingwood is better for the AFL (and all of us) yes or no? Eddie has driven a degree of professionalism in club management that has been the envy of most (Melbourne appear to be on the right track Garry must be time for you to sack someone it has been at least 2 weeks, and Terry year 12 of the 5 year plan Wallace is really moving things along - didn't they just lose a major sponsor). Lets look at Sydney who everyone holds up as a team culture beacon. Bazza goes crazy again and he is out until he gets his head right. Two weeks (when they need to win) later they dig up Dr Bellows to say he is fine. But they don't win the hypocrites award that truly belongs to North - who to my mind should get one away game against us a year. I would actually boycott if they ever get a home game against us - so their 300 supporters can get a good seat. Today was going to be a crap day. Tomorrow they will dig up the bloke who lives next door to the guy who sold the parked car, and then thank god we get to the weekend. If we beat the Saints just see how pumped the playing group is.
I really want us to not respond to any more media questions - give them nothing _________________ Dispatches from a foreign land |

Thats her job is to report on the politics and behind the scene side of football not who kicked it to who.
This then would be the biggest story of the year for her and gets her on the front page of the Age, why wouldn't she be enthusiastic about the going ons at CFC.
I found her story fair, factual and mostly unopinionated. _________________ DNA National Dislexic Association |

I hate her deeply seeing that witchy poo face on the font of the paper makes my breakfast rise. But its our lad's fault she is there. That is the sad fact. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

The media has had a field-day, that's for sure.
That's not to say though that the reporting has been wrong, just that it's been over-the-top ~ how many pages in the papers, how much air-play?
Part of that culture of course, is of our own doing ~ we do everything BIG at our Club, so when something bites us on the b**, it's big big news & it really really hurts.
A bit like an own goal, over & over again.
We're in seige-mode, under attack from so many quarters ~ way too much for a Club, any Club to deal with, when the main game is to win matches on a weekly basis.
IMHO, Time for a culture change at our Club, in many ways than one. _________________ Side by side we Stick together |
