Got this Idea of Pies BF Board.
Same as Footy Classfied. Some one Puts a Call up and People say it's a Bad or Good Call.
3 Here from Me:
GC BC - JA will end the Year as a Defender and Dawes will take his place alongside Cloke
GC BC - Sidebottom and Beams will have 2nd Year Blues or Will the Get Better
GC BC - Will Nathan Brown get back in the AFL Side and make an Impact again

GC BC - Will Nathan Brown get back in the AFL Side and make an Impact againThis once again is a question and not a call dave

Good Call
Get Better (Bigger bodies)
Nathan's last year........or become a forward!
Here's one I'd like to see. T. Cloke to become the best CHB in the league.
Has speed, strength, courage, would be able to fist the ball away in most marking contests and a booming left foot to clear the ball over zone defences into our forward line. _________________ Every Thought In My Head, Someone Else Has Said ! |

1 - bad call. JA will be a gun
2- no call. will be solid contributors, but true break out year will be 2011
3 - will be solid defender for us if he remains fit. L.Brown only got his spot due to injury. N.Brown has far better upside. And will show it. |

Sidey will be a gun!
Beams will be good for us.
N.Brown.... undecided here, shows potential but somethig tells me No.
JA need to lift and I think he's capanle of being a solid goal kicker for us. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Hard to follow those Dave but I'll give it a shot.
1. Bad Call - JA has proven to be a great shot on goal, just needs to get to more contests.
2. Bad Call - Both are quality and will be fine.
3. Good Call - NB will become a starter next year.
Here are a few of my predictions to be called;
GC BC - Ben Reid will still play most games in the VFL
GC BC - Pies to use Pick 30 on another ruckman
GC BC - Ryan Cook delisted at seasons end
GC BC - Travis will kick 50+ goals in 2010
GC BC - Strauchnie will debut in Round 20 for a 3 game finals prep. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

1. Bad Call Dave, Anthony will be a 60-70 goal forward this year. No other full forward to replace him. Dawes is a VFL hero (like Cook and Stanley) until proven otherwise.
2. Bad Call unless we get some midfield injuries and they have to play all year. Malthouse is very good at nurturing young talents.
3. Good Call, will come into the side at the expense of Leigh Brown and play most games. |

1. Bad Call We still don't have enough inside midfielders to replace O'Bree just yet.
2. Good Call To an extent, a good call, he would have to improve dramatically to play more then the 4 games he played this year, he was pretty ordinary in the VFL finals.
3. Good Call Well almost, I'd say more likely low 40's, but I hope he spends more time up forward. 2 goals a week and a contest is all we need from Josh in 2010.
4. Good Call Although in modern day footy, to average over 20 possessions a game isn't a great achievement, but Sharrod will play most games next year, if he can improve the defensive side of his game just a little bit.
My turn;
1. GC/BC: If we start 2010 or 2011 badly, the media will have a field day with the whole Malthouse/Buckley succession plan.
2. GC/BC: Darren Jolly will make us a "real" premiership contender in 2010. |

1. Bad Call - O'Bree will start missing games due to his age...but he is an MM favourite. Unless we get Ball or Harris, his spot is still very very secure because Beams and Sidebottom are not going to push him out just yet. He was still incredibly important to us in 09. We rely on him.
2. OK Call - I hope Dawes comes into the senior side. But I think we'll still see 50% of him at VFL level and the other 50% at AFL level.
3. Bad Call - Fraser will have a great year I think, but will kick around 20 goals. His knee is still bad and will have to be managed. He and Wood will be rotated to save Fraser's knee for finals. Fraser will play backup ruck and push forward...which will also keep Dawes out of the side. But he is not good enough to kick 50 goals.
4. Good Call - Wellingham is a frontrunner at the moment and that is why he was the one we decided to trade to the Roos for pick 25. If we are winning games, he will get 20+ disposals. I think we'll hit 2010 in good form and therefore he will knock up getting the ball. But i think he'll be in and out of the side. But on whole, will average 20 disposals. _________________ There's more to life than footy.........just not much more. |

1. GC: they will, but I think we'll start 2010 well.
2. BC: Jolly will only be useful if we can find a few good clearance players to help him. Sidebottom and Beams are the ones that will make us premiership contenders in 2011, 2012 and Jolly will play a big part in that.
If we had Luke Ball alongside Jolly then I do think we would've been contenders. _________________ There's more to life than footy.........just not much more. |
