The 3 favourite things in i's life are (in no particular order)...
1. the Missus.
2. Chainsaws.
3. Vintage axes.

Looks like I've drawn the "not long for this world" Trifecta don't get the dozen (or so) ...
"FIX THIS!!!"
signs the missus has randomly placed around the house sorted out!

Yep.

Your 1st favourite thing may assist you in becoming intimately acquainted with one or more of your other 2 favourite things. Razz

maybe you could loan one of your vintage axes to TP. She has some signs too. Wink

No thanks, I've had a kiss from all 3 and the Missus was the only one that didn't required stitches and a tetnus shot afterwards!
These "signs" (there was 27 of them) started appearing yesterdae.
The expiry is 7.30 tonight.
I'd forgotten about till a few hours ago but thanks to handyman skihls I've done everyone of them! Very Happy:

I'm expect a big "thank-you"Wink when she gets home!

That that didn't go well!
She went to her sisters the other dae and left these multi-coloured multi toned messages.
I figured they were some art piece she was working.
I noticed they weren't level so I got out the set square, plumb-bob and liquid nails and hung'em properly.
Turns out I was wrong, she wanted things "near" the signs fixed but there were no arrows or further instructions so how was I to know what she really wanted?
Lucky for me I'd locked my saws and axes in the shed or I'd changing my name to 2.

Can't remember where I read it but apparently butter is now good for you. Wish they'd make up their minds Rolling Eyes

Better than margarine at any rate.

If I have to give up beer, bacon, chips, toast and roast potatoes I'm gonna die young anyway.....from misery Laughing

I found something I was told was really bad for me but I like that anywae is actually saving/prolonging my life.
I contracted hepatitis in my early 20's. Back then the only remedy was basically stop drinking and hope for the best (interferon on the horizon but it was far from being released to those that needed it).
I switched to coffee (5 cups a dae occasionally)did the not drinking alcohol (a lot) for a good 10 years while my viral load stayed pretty static for a few more and then started to decrease. I went for regular check-ups (every few years) but the count kept dropping and eventually I stopped going.
A few months ago I went to the liver clinic (for a long over-due check-up) and when I went back the nurse was beaming.
She sat me down and told me that basically I was totally clear of the virus though I stihl have the anti-bodies ie I am now immune to all forms.
The nurse said this happens occasionally, why she has no-idea.
I didn't either till a few daes ago when I saw this article about the benefits of few good real cups of coffee every dae.
I was going to give it up (it's hard on my guts) but now, I like coffee more than I ever did!

If I still smoked and was force outside in a place I lived in for years I would leave the security door jammed open while I went for a smoke, allow in the cold air, and slam the bugger when I came back in.

Has anybody ever lived or visited flats with a large subcontinent population? The smell of spices is overpowering Is that the next to be banned? Someone has a weber cooking a roast pig and all sorts of religions and vegans are offended. There has to be fairly cheap engineering solution to this.

It is the non smokers who need to do so, Tell them to sell all their cars and ride a bike and maybe they have a point. What are they going to do if you own the place and tell them to Eff Off. As Sharon Stone said "What are you going to do. Arrest me for smoking".
