You cant say Mark was a boring batsman!!! Opening the innings is a very tough job? Sometimes it takes you a few overs to get a run who cares!!!!

The job of an opener is to wear down the bowlers down so the lower order batsman can make the runs!!!

but the fact remains.....this topic states that Martyn is boring to watch...I AGREE....dont worry there are many others from the past....but in the current team...he takes the cake!!!

I would go as far to say that the WI v Canada match was probably the best so far...

the fast scoring is truly exciting and great to watch...no matter what team is playing....additionally when bignaut from Zim came out to play against the aussies....

I arose from my near slumber and almost fell off the couch.....it raises the bar and brings the crowd/commentators and match alight
