welllll now whos going to replace him since he has resigned....

This is awkward for Ed and pert

Marcus might keep the job, purely for the fact that most others qualified have ended up being tied up to other clubs.

Gubby Allan will resign as @collingwood director of football after today's decision

good, yes I want him gone, but this shows he has some integrity too, and means our board doesn't have to look nasty, silly, blah blaj blah

His replacement, impressive CV.

U10 cricket coach. We should get him to be involved with the current Australian cricket team.

He already is.

Please tell me he's not the buffoon who regularly appears on 'Lulie Street'????

Does anyone believe that Nick Maxwell has learnt enough administration knowledge to fill football manager role

Would he be the right fit--I know he has other jobs with GWS and Melbourne Victory??
but would he leave them to come in to our administration

Just thinking out loud

Except he has stated first year after footy he doesn't want to coach and prefer CEO type role. Maybe it will be Pendles in 2038.

Just a bit annoyed that this has become the Gubby Allan/Collingwood story more than anything else.

Collingwood should tell at least consult Nicks about the goings on & future appointments.

If Allen serves his 12 months then can he come back?

Personally, if he serves his the time then I don't really have an issue with him coming back as such. The cheat from Adelaide who cooked the books re lying about Tippett's money - is now at Carlton isn't he?

I haven't really formulated a solid view yet.
