WE have definitel gone totally down the Kids route, more and more kids, and im for that all the way, plus young Daicos, 3, so its all good, However i do think we should recruit a couple of re cycled players, ala Roughead, be great to pick up a couple like him. This Talliah might be the go, and where is Mag jack Daw these days, he had potential i reckon.

Agree Piesnchess , you have to pick a few big bodied players over 25 to balance out the team and offer some protection to the younger guys. We are not playing in an under 19’s competition.
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
Agree. Our best player is still 33. But we really are missing that 25ish core.Lazza wrote:Agree Piesnchess , you have to pick a few big bodied players over 25 to balance out the team and offer some protection to the younger guys. We are not playing in an under 19’s competition.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

Majak Daw would be a terrible addition to the Collingwood list.
Collingwood need to maintain the course of developing the next generation of talent who have some potential to form a premiership team with the current core of experienced players of sufficient class for next year to rebound from the depths of this year such as Adams, Grundy, Moore, Mihocek, DeGoey, Howe, Crisp, Maynard, Elliot, Sidebottom, Hoskin-Elliot and Pendlebury.
There is a good basis of youthful talent in the club already to be added to next draft with Nick Daicos and Dibs. That should set the club up to be active in the trading period at the end of next year to balance any remaining areas in need of strengthening and be back in contention by 2023.
Every recruiting decision should be based on will this guy be a potential premiership player in 2023. Majak Daw has never been good enough to be considered a potential premiership player and is certainly not now.

2 metre Peter would have been handy, the Suns basically gave him away and are paying part of his salary at Essendon.
We should be looking at KPP around 23-25 who are struggling for games at their club.
