Can’t be any slower than Lipinski, surely? Patty’s a good player and I’m a fan, but he looks like Pendles could beat him in a sprint.

I reckon he's on the cusp of senior selection. With JDG and Adams hopefully returning for the finals, it will be hard to squeeze him in this year, but his good VFL form shows he's ready if required. Whether he gets a game this year or not I'm confident he'll get more senior games next year. Remember, both Pendles and Sidey are fast nearing the end of their careers, and their departures (possibly at the end of next year) will immediately open up 2 midfield spots.

Was at the SCG on Sunday for both games. McCrae was really impressive. His 2 goals on the left foot in the last quarter were all class. Burst from the centre square on a couple of occasions. Worked hard both ways. Excellent decision maker. It took J Daicos until his 4th year to become a regular in the senior team. And look at him now. He was fantastic in the main game.

I like this kid has some nice skills, just needs to build that tank of his. He's performed well in the VFL.

Anyone else get the selection email from the club? McRae selects McRae the headline read…..
You’d think they’d spell the players name correctly!

As long as Magden knows how to spell his own name. And Stevic is easy to spell, it’s C H E A T I N G P R I C K.

Likewise, rapt that Finn is playing tomorrow. Wish him all the best. Hope he has a blinder.
Think we can win if we apply our max pressure. Very important that we prevent them from dominating centre clearances.
With JDG in the midfield, we are much better equipped to achieve this.
Carlton will be throwing everything at us, because they won't play finals unless they win.
This game is a great dress rehearsal for us, for the finals.
We will know from this game if we are really in contention this year.
I think the main message from the coach will be: Play joyfully, take risks, don't be conservative, throw caution to the wind.
Free Julian Assange!!

Welcome to Collingwood #18 Finlay Macrae

Like this selection from the match committee.
Macrae deserved to be rewarded off the back of good VFL performances.

Well done to Macrae on winning his recall.
Now let's hope McRae gives him ample opportunity to sink or swim in the midfield and we get a sense if he can value add in that position heading into finals.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
